The First Ever
Harrietta Blueberry Festival 2026 Shirt Design Contest
Our Harrietta Blueberry Festival Shirt Design Contest gives young artists a chance to BLOSSOM! Open to youth ages 5–17, we’re looking for RIPE designs that capture the summer vibes, community spirit, and BLUEBERRY-filled fun of our little festival. The CREAM of the CROP will be selected by the festival board and be on display at the festival, where attendees will PICK their favorite with tickets. The design with the most tickets takes home the BLUE ribbon: a gift basket and a free tee with their SWEET artwork at next year’s fest. Let’s get this BERRY rollin’!
Eligibility
- Open to youth ages 5–17.
- Michigan residents only (must provide a valid Michigan address).
- ONLINE ONLY: Submit a high resolution digital drawing, scan, or photograph of designs via our form.
Timeline
- Submission Deadline: July 23, 2025 (11:59 PM EDT)
- Finalists Announcement: July 28, 2025 (Harrietta Blueberry Festival Facebook Page)
- Voting: August 2, 2025 (10:00 AM–1:00 PM)
- Winner Announcement: August 2, 2025 (1:30 PM)
Submission Guidelines
- Theme: Must include the phrase “Harrietta Blueberry Festival” in your design.
- Specs: Minimum resolution of 300 DPI, dimensions at least 10” × 10”. Common image formats accepted (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, AI, PSD, etc.) if specs are met.
- Colors: Up to 2 colors. Using blue? Leave it blank—the shirt’s got you covered!
- No Dates: Do not include years or specific festival dates; you may use phrases like “the first Saturday of August” instead.
- File Naming: LastName_FirstName_Age.ext (e.g., Smith_Jane_12.png).

Judging & Voting
- The Festival Committee will pick 5 finalists based on creativity, theme relevance, and print readiness.
- Festival-goers purchase $1 tickets and drop them into labeled containers. One ticket = one vote.
- The design with the most tickets wins!
Prizes
- 1st Place: Harrietta Blueberry Festival Gift Basket and a certificate for one free shirt printed with the winning design.
- Runners-Up: Honorable mentions featured on our website and social media.
Terms & Conditions
- By entering, participants grant non-exclusive rights to Harrietta Blueberry Festival to reproduce designs on merchandise, marketing materials, and social channels.
- All entries must be original. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material will result in disqualification.
- No inclusion of trademarked characters, logos, or messages.
- NO AI DESIGNS
- Form must completed and design file emailed
